・At Kameoka Distillery, we were born and raised in Kyoto, and we work in partnership with local farmers to produce shochu that represents Kyoto. Distinct from the traditional sweet potato shochu of Kyushu, the birthplace of sweet potato shochu, we craft our shochu with the concept of “shochu that pairs well with Japanese cuisine,” aiming to enhance the flavors of Kyoto cuisine. As a new challenge, we are now aiming to expand our sweet potato shochu overseas!
